Sri Chaitanya began its record breaking journey carrying the huge expectations and dreams of the parents

Sri Chaitanya was born as a girls college at Vijayawada in 1986, heralding a new era of education with the

| The Birth and Incessant Growth |
Sri Chaitanya set up its first of countless milestones with a girls’ residential college in Vijayawada followed by
a boys’ college in 1991. It has never looked back since. The saga continued with the establishment of 200
institutions at various locations in Andhra Pradesh and then nationwide with branches in the neighbouring
states of Karnataka, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Bihar and the National capital in New Delhi. In
2006, the institution opened IIT-JEE / AIEEE / AIPMT coaching centres at Mandi in Himachal Pradesh,
Ranchi and Bokaro in Jharkhand, Bhilai in Chattisgarh, Indore in Madhya Pradesh and Bellary in Karnataka,
Faridabad in Haryana. In 2011, Sri Chaitanya entered Bihar with a coaching centre in Patna.
Sri Chaitanya unfolded the CBSE XII in Visakhapatnam in 2004 for the students from neighbouring states.
The CBSE Board, New Delhi conferred recognition on Sri Chaitanya Vidya Niketan, Visakhapatnam in
2008, for setting a benchmark for excellence in education. It is the only one in the city offering CBSE XII
along with all the national level competitive examinations. |
